I received an ARC....I loved the continuation of Queen Tanya, King Brant and Zane. The story opened with the some Lores rules on rutting other females while the Queen is in her last stage of pregnancy...OMG! I agree with Tanya 800%...absolutely NOT.! Even though it got pretty out of hand, it didn't matter what the lores said anyway because Brant & Zane didn't want to do it; which says a lot. There was a few twists in the story which I thought was really, really good; and looking forward to that carrying over to the next installment. I like how the author had both Brant and Zane discuss how they felt about it, even though Tanya did say somethings that were pretty bad and men do have feels. Esp, when they love someone and want to make the relationship work. Even though Brant and Zane are constantly chippy towards one another, they seem to be bonding slowly but surely. Brant is still a bit surly but he's coming around; they even had a heartfelt moment in the story! I'm Zane's biggest fan...totally love his character...when he said "Fuc@!* that! That I would xx. and leave you with Tanya?..Totally GREAT LINE.!! I was cracking up laughing! You gotta love Zane, he's great! Even though I didn't get my twins with Tanya, I was so pleased with the baby. I was thrilled that Becky was assigned to help with the birth. Even though she's not OB-GYN, she's still very good....with her two mates, Rushe & Ross..yum, yum!! They seem very protective of her..!! I was also so pleased to see they brought in Steph & Ward and Xavier and Esral. Xavier can't seem to pull himself away from Esral...LOL! I would have loved more dialog between the women and have the men chat a bit more, esp with the breading program. Tanya finally got her vampire sandwich....WHOA! Knockout scene. I was like wow! Overall the story was great and I'm looking forward to the next installment "Breading Program"...I know that's going to be a doozy...LOVE IT..! Thanks Charlene!

These characters resonate. They work well with each other and the heroine is one of my favorites. I'm glad we got to learn how the pregnancy worked out. I'd love more writing on the accident; the misunderstanding; the birth. What drama. Loved it!
Early labor. Tanya and a misunderstanding with Zane causing him heart felt pain and thought of betrayal.
Attempts on the lives of the Kings, with Zane's near death and Tanya being pushed in full labor with her thoughts of Zane's possible death.
Brant finding the other king and realizing her has a love for this friend, and the need for him to do all he can to save his life, knowing it will affect Tanys and the birth of their child.
Mated to the Vampire Kings (The Chosen Series Book 5) Absolutely love this book, and every other book in this series. There's humor, action, hot sex, and hard decisions. I mean, could you choose between two hot vampires that are fighting over you? Yea, that's what I thought. They're opposites, but both have a lot to give a girl...Charlene Hartnady has a wonderful imagination and the talent to put it to good use. Love her writing, and have every intention of reading everything she writes. I have yet to be disappointed.
It took me a long time to have the money to read this (book 5), but; it's so worth the wait! I want to tell Charlene Hartnady, and; all those who read this review ; " I have read so many of these ebooks, they're all starting to sound a lot alike! Lol., but; nothing could touch this womans "Creative., Mind blowing genius! This book kept me Spellbound! People ; this is a must read! You will not regret it!
It's a rocky pregnancy for Tanya. Dealing with her two mates' desires and gestating are not mixing well. And having vampire females offering to sate her mates is not helping. Good story. Looking forward to The Program. Finally some of the boys get their girls. ☺
I'm so glad that this book wasn't just a fluff piece. It was really good. It's hard to get character development in a short book like this (and it does help that they're already established characters) but she managed to do it. There were a number of moments in this book they had my heart and my throat. I highly recommend this book .
I'll admit, I didn't read the previous 2 books before this one, because after reading The Program Series, I really wanted to see how Tanya ended up being in a vampire sandwich as both Brant and Zane are the kings mentioned in the Program. I enjoyed reading about the birth and the situation of Mate's Lore (you'll understand when you read the blurb). Not being a fan of threesomes, I slogged through the sex scenes with all three of them together. Not sexy for me, so I didn't enjoy them as I usually do. However, this book cements the relationship more between the two men with their chosen female and shows the precursor to the start of The Program. This book does introduce you to some of the guys in The Program. Otherwise, this book wasn't bad at all
